| American G. I. currently boasts a dozen active members in Colorado, Southern Wyoming and Western Nebraska. During the summer American G. I. does a "Defenders of Bataan" display at air-shows and living history festivals. Additionally, the group also portrays the 41st Infantry Regiment, 2nd Armored Division, with a special focus on Operation Cobra during the summer months for public battles, and for tacticals American G. I. does the post-Normandy 327th Glider Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division. Many members of this group also have British Airborne impressions. |
| American G. I. pays special focus to squad weapons, and between its members boasts several light weapons, including a .30-caliber machine gun and an M9 Bazooka. Additionally, the unit membership has two jeep chassis which will eventually be reconstructed to provide its members with light scout vehicles. |
