American G. I.

American G. I. currently boasts a dozen active
members in Colorado, Southern Wyoming and
Western Nebraska.  During the summer American
G. I. does a "Defenders of Bataan" display at
air-shows and living history festivals.  Additionally,
the group also portrays the 41st Infantry
Regiment, 2nd Armored Division, with a special
focus on Operation Cobra during the summer
months for public battles, and for tacticals
American G. I. does the post-Normandy 327th
Glider Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division.  
Many members of this group also have British
Airborne impressions.  
American G. I. pays special focus to
squad weapons, and between its
members boasts several light
weapons, including a .30-caliber
machine gun and an M9 Bazooka.  
Additionally, the unit membership has
two jeep chassis which will eventually
be reconstructed to provide its
members with light scout vehicles.
